Autoselect Sports is a sports prediction application that allows users to create an account, view sports predictions, follow creators, comment, save favorite matches, and access premium creator content when they purchase a subscription.
Information we collect
We may collect the following information when you use Autoselect Sports:
- Account information such as username, email address, and authentication provider.
- Profile information such as avatar image, followers, and following relationships.
- Content you create in the app, including predictions, comments, likes, favorites, and profile activity.
- Subscription-related information required to verify purchases through Google Play.
- Technical and diagnostic information used to secure, monitor, and improve the service.
Facebook Login
If you choose to sign in with Facebook, we request access only to the information needed to create or sign in to your Autoselect Sports account, such as your public profile and email address when available. We do not post to Facebook on your behalf.
How we use information
We use collected information to:
- create and manage your account;
- authenticate you securely;
- display your profile, avatar, predictions, comments, favorites, and social interactions;
- verify and manage subscription access;
- translate prediction analysis into the language selected in the app;
- prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve the application.
Analysis translations and OpenAI
When you request or view a translated analysis, we send the prediction analysis text and requested language to OpenAI through its API. We do not intentionally include your email address, password, access token, purchase token, or other direct account identifier in that request. We cache the translated text in our database so that the same analysis does not need to be translated repeatedly. Our API requests set storage to disabled. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default and that abuse-monitoring data may be retained for up to 30 days. See OpenAI API data controls.
Service providers and data processors
We do not sell your personal information. We use the following categories of processors only as needed to provide and protect the service:
- Microsoft Azure for API hosting, PostgreSQL database hosting, backups, and avatar storage;
- Google for Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing, purchase verification, and subscription management;
- Meta Platforms when you choose Facebook Login;
- OpenAI for optional prediction-analysis translations;
- Sentry for application error diagnostics and reliability monitoring;
- our configured email delivery provider for confirmation, password reset, and support email.
Data retention
- Account, profile, social, subscription-entitlement, and active content data is kept while your account remains open.
- Finished match predictions, their full analysis, comments, favorites, and cached translations are removed from the live database after 10 days. Aggregated, non-content statistics may be retained.
- Short-lived authentication challenges and exchange codes expire within the lifetime stated by the authentication flow and are removed after use or expiry.
- Operational and security diagnostics are retained for up to 30 days unless a longer period is required to investigate abuse, protect users, or comply with law.
- After account deletion, data is removed from the active database immediately. Residual encrypted backup copies expire through the backup cycle within no more than 35 days and are not restored except for disaster recovery.
- OpenAI may retain API abuse-monitoring data for up to 30 days under its published API data controls.
Your choices
You can permanently delete your account inside the app from your own Profile page by selecting Delete account. You can also request deletion outside the app by following our Data Deletion Instructions. Google Play subscriptions are managed separately through the Google Play Subscription Center.
